New version's PKGBUILD is missing no-werror.patch from source array, causing sha256sum verification to fail.

could this be caused by makepkg stripping libtool files?

makepkg throws the same error. I currently have trousers 0.3.13-3 which should be the most recent release.

It works for me, and namcap doesn't report any missing dependencies. libtspi is part of trousers, so you should have it installed provided that you have trousers installed. Can you try building with makepkg directly instead of pacaur? If it still fails, is it possible that you have an older version of trousers installed? If that's the case, I can update the dependency to require a specific version.
