Could you add the '-r' parameter to the groupadd and useradd commands in 'trousers.install'? That creates the user as a system user, not a regular one, so it won't show up in the login managers. Please update this package with the following source package: http://ubuntuone.com/p/199J/ (generated with "makepkg --source") It contains a patch from Fedora to fix the compilations issues. Also, the PKGBUILD is updated to include the patch and the md5sum of the patch.
