Please remove the obsolete xorg-fonts-encodings dependency and set the license field to just =('OFL').

Following upstream changes [1,2] we need to clean deps array.

It addition to xorg-font-utils please drop the fontconfig and xorg-font-encodings dependencies. Font package should have no dependencies except in special cases, which this font is not. All those things are long obsolete and solved other ways.

Also the license should be just =('OFL') now.

The package xorg-font-utils has been removed from the Arch repositories, this package cannot be built and installed anymore.

There indeed is a hook (/usr/share/libalpm/hooks/fontconfig.hook) that runs fc-cache automatically. No need to do it also in the install file.

this package has conflict with ttf-google-fonts-git. please add ttf-google-fonts-git as conflicts.

Also I think .install files for font packages are deprecated. Preinstalled hooks should do the work. https://wiki.archlinux.org/index.php/DeveloperWiki:Pacman_Hooks#fc-cache EDIT: Just saw that the hook is only proposed. So forget what I have said :-D

Oswald-SemiBold.ttf ... Passed OFL.txt ... FAILED ==> ERROR: One or more files did not pass the validity check! ==> ERROR: Makepkg was unable to build ttf-oswald. It seams you are using the name "OFL.txt" across your font packages. When using makepkg's option to save sources, the file from a previous package is taken and thus the checksum fails. Could you rename them?
