@lightdot Actually you didn't miss it, you added me once before then removed me after you disagreed with a change I made ;-) It's okay I understand the logic, the honest truth is that what upstream to use for this is not clear since the "official" League version is out of date and not one or two but THREE forks are clearly in better shape than the official one. Switching to them will be disruptive and my current plan is to keep the status quo with AUR packages until the upstream situation is cleaned up. I'm now officially working with the League to integrate the forks and get the official repos up to date. I'll update AUR packages as that work bears fruit.

Updates for this are in the works, but it's complicated. There are so many forks and different hands in the pie it's not an easy option to use the‌ "latest". Weight changes will break peoples' usage.

I'm actually recently joined as a developer for The League of Movable Type now and am working on integrating the forks to this into the upstream repository. This package will be updated to use the releases as merged back there (which yes will include the latest and greatest).

If this is targeting a specific version of the font, it may be worth pinning to a single git hash rather than "master" on the repos

Great news: I just saw that there has been further work on Raleway. See https://github.com/TypeNetwork/Raleway

The 4.020 version has been stabilized and extended into version 4.025, which is also used by Google Fonts now. I suggest switching this package over to the new repo.

otf-impallari-raleway-family could then be merged into this repo as there is now a single newest stable version.

Since it's stable now, merging into otf-raleway for a single package using 4.025 could be worth a thought as well.

@lightdot A long time ago you added me as a co-maintainer on a lot of the league font packages. I'm working on some more font package cleanup across the AUR and would like to address this one too (obsolete dependencies, split OTF vs TTF packages, etc.). Would you mind adding me?

Thanks @Ordoviz for letting me know. For a while now I have been removing googlefonts as a source of PKGBUILDs as much as possible, it has that habit of changing files and .zip files without even modifying the font version. Fortunately in this case I could find on github.com a repository of the author of this package from which to download each ttf file and the other documents.

Raleway.zip does not pass the validity check.
