There should not be a leading slash in usr/share/icons/... (ubuntu-mono.install file).

You need this lines (from the light-themes packages): sed -i -e "/shadow radius/d" "$pkgdir/usr/share/themes/Ambiance/metacity-1/metacity-theme-1.xml" sed -i -e "/shadow radius/d" "$pkgdir/usr/share/themes/Radiance/metacity-1/metacity-theme-1.xml" sed -i -e "/padding/d" "$pkgdir/usr/share/themes/Ambiance/metacity-1/metacity-theme-1.xml" sed -i -e "/padding/d" "$pkgdir/usr/share/themes/Radiance/metacity-1/metacity-theme-1.xml" sed -i -e "/trough/d" "$pkgdir/usr/share/themes/Ambiance/metacity-1/metacity-theme-1.xml" sed -i -e "/trough/d" "$pkgdir/usr/share/themes/Radiance/metacity-1/metacity-theme-1.xml" To make the window decorator work on gnome3.

Also, ubuntu-mono is now merged with light-themes: https://launchpad.net/ubuntu/raring/+source/ubuntu-themes
