4.90.06 once again can be downloaded without logging in, so the PKGBUILD has been updated to 4.90.06 \o/

Well it seems like they use pyueye as well so this could work.

I think the downloads were most of the time behind the login, only a few versions were openly available, probably by mistake. As EO (Edmund Optics) are selling rebranded IDS cameras, IDS gave them their own download area without login:
http://www.ids-imaging.com/go/edmund/
The software is pretty much the same AFAIKS ...

I'm afraid it's a bit worse than that. The checksum and URL are still up to date, but the website now requires you to log to download the file. I'm afraid there's little I can do.
The AUR checks that files in the source array are either URLs or part of the git repository. The first doesn't seem possible anymore and the latter is not an option.
I'm open to ideas.. =]
