Hey @callegar,
I don't understand the background of your question. Can unison 2.48.4 from debian not communicate with unison 2.48.4 from ubuntu focal?
If you need another unison package with a specific version, I encourage you to make your own AUR package. You can use the
PKGBUILD
from here as inspiration. But what would be the advantage of getting the binary from Ubuntu rather from Debian? Do you experience problems with the Debian binaru which you don't with the Ubuntu binary?

This is not meant to be compatible with the version of unison in ubuntu focal, is it?
Would it be possible to have an unison-2.48.4-focal package arranged under the same lines? Is it possible to redistribute a single ubuntu binary in the same way it is with debian?
