Where does it say that this package is out of date? It is using the latest version from GitHub

Yeah good idea. I thought of adding another desktop entry to launch it without a Terminal but there's no easy way to see the status then and it's cumbersome to manually end it.

Would you consider adding a systemd unit file for this? Starting it via the desktop file opens a new terminal window which is not ideal. It's easy enough to put one together, especially given the desktop file, but it'd be cool for the package to provide it.

uxplay 1.56-1 dumps core when "Stop Mirroring" is sent by the client. This only happens when compiled using -DFORTIFY_SOURCE (as in AUR). See https://github.com/FDH2/UxPlay/issues/135

Fix is to update source to https://github.com/FDH2/UxPlay/archive/refs/tags/1.56d.tar.gz and release as uxplay-1.56-2

Until this is done, the fix is also available in uxplay-github AUR package which uses latest github source.

Wow, this actually works! Now Arch is second screen for my Mac To run this on full screen with Wayland:

-vs "waylandsink fullscreen=true"
