As of current master, libmpiwrap.patch fails to apply. On the other hand, commit 3415e1e1acc5095607663071db299f961bd65bde seems to have similar content, and the package builds without it, so could this patch no longer be necessary?

I wanted this package to use the MPI support, that I think is not provided by the valgrind package of the official repository.

However, it seems that it can't compile with openmpi 4, that is provided by the official repository as openmpi. https://pastebin.com/BZ62PbTK

Is this a current valgrind limitation?

Anyway, if you want to use this valgrind package with MPI support :

install hwloc1 from AUR : https://aur.archlinux.org/packages/hwloc1/
install openmpi3 from AUR : https://aur.archlinux.org/packages/openmpi3/
install valgrind-git
