There is a problem with this plugin. Audio gets resampled by pipewire to default pipewire rate rather than being sent straight through at source rate after setting this :-
PipeWire#Changing_the_allowed_sample_rate(s).
Reverting back to the vlc pulse audio output and things work properly. Problem illustrated by using pw-top command. See also :-
