I added 2DGraphics and VectorGraphics, both here and for the vpaint-git package. Feel free to double-check my addition in terms of syntax. Cheers!

Please consider adding an additional category (https://specifications.freedesktop.org/menu-spec/latest/apas02.html) to gendesk command. Perhaps VectorGraphics would be a good choice. Thank you

Thanks for packaging this! Latest version is currently 1.7, can you update the package? For me bumping the pkgver sufficed, also I believe the dependency on qt4 can be removed - at least I can see only Qt 5.x mentioned in the VPaint repo as as of 2020-11 and it builds, starts and seems to run fine without qt4.
