I doubt it. It was made for KDE4 (http://www.becrux.com/index.php?page=projects&name=wally#Install).

Try adding Wally download folder(s) to the KDE Plasma Wallpaper Slideshow desktop settings.

@j1simon: Added the desktop entry file. The desktop icon is low-res.
