could you please patch the config.guess and add the aarch64 architecture. It works perfectly on an aarch64 pc

The link is https://web.archive.org/web/20170225164416/http://download.gna.org/warmux/warmux-11.04.1.tar.bz2 but the bandwidth is too low to be practical (we should not hammer archive.org anyway.) Github sounds like a better alternative. What about forking this one? https://github.com/a-team/wormux

I can host the tarball above if that is acceptable. Or, if someone has the archive link, I can switch to that.

Yes, gna is dead. However, archive.org has an almost full backup of all software hosted there. The warmux project archive is all in all 5,3 GB in size (zipped), and the data would need migration to GitHub or something to be useable again. The project is still dead, though. There have not been updates since 2011, so without some active developers, this will not change.

Seems like the website where from the PKGBUILD downloads things is dead. gna.org is not accessible. Thus, the install times out always. I searched a bit and it seems to be the only mirror for Warmux. The Debian package works, but I am not familiar enough with PKGBUILDs to write one that makes an Arch package from a Debian package (.deb).

I agree, the compression shouldn't be disabled by default. I'm not able to build this without applying a small patch. Here is an updated version: https://github.com/Martchus/PKGBUILDs/tree/master/warmux/default
