Normally I avoid posting OOD messages as a comment, but as this package is already flagged...
valdar, if you don't have the time to keep this package updated you should think about co-maintainers or dropping this package. Latest release is 1.15.8. Almost a year since you made the last update.

@Singularity ah I understood it was fine to leave prefsdir=.local/share/wesnoth/1.15 out, my bad. Changed as suggested now.

Thanks for updating, please also change the prefsdir option.
About the bash part, there's a little misunderstanding. In the other package, -1.12.6 is added, which is by coincidence the pkgversion. However, the .6 does not refer to the pkgversion, but to the before removed file extension. The command to see the manpage is "man wesnoth-1.12". And by before removed, that's what's happening by the basename command, it removes the directory name, but also the .6 suffix. (Btw, in the final package, the file extensions will be .6.gz, but the compression happens later.)

@Singularity: if I understood you correctly I should have updated the package. tnx.

To change prefsdir=.local/share/wesnoth/1.15. Because that is the default location for saves and add-ons, but avoids collision with the 1.14 preference file. However … so far nothing happened which makes the preference file incompatible, I'd even leave the option out as you have then the same preferences.
On another note, can you incorporate lines 91-95 from the wesnoth-1.12 pkgbuild instead of changing the mandir option? That let's you have the manpages installed in parallel, too.
Other news are, openmp option got removed (along with openmp support) and there's this packaging change: https://r.wesnoth.org/t51038
This could be added with: echo Linux repository > "$pkgdir"/usr/share/wesnoth-devel/data/dist (The allowed values are hardcoded to the ones in the Link)

Updated to 1.15.2
I have no idea why I made the below note to myself. If someone have a clue pleas let me know :)
valdar commented on 2019-03-09 22:13 (UTC)
note to self, for 1.15 use local/share/wesnoth/1.15 as datadir

@dvzrv what do you mean by conflicting? I think this can be instelled next to a non develpoment version of wesnoth since I rename all the artifacts during the build/install process.
