I just tried to install this, and the tarball failed the validity check. I know how to force it to pass or to "update" the checksum in PKGFILE, but I'm curious whether the file may simply have been regenerated in the past two and a half years, or if I should not trust it? The most recent commit is a bit over a year ago, but there are more recent issues and PRs, so I don't think it's quite dead yet.
