:) I'm also trying to figure out the exact dependencies needed.

I see you switched us to downloading the .tar.xz file, rather than the .deb file. Nicely done. It seems to have significantly cleaned up the PKGBUILD and install as well.

Try downloading it again. It looks like you only downloaded ~70% of the package before the makepkg kicked in to build it. Which would explain the errors.

@helix
updated, thanks
helix commented on 2014-03-20 16:43 (UTC)
Wouldn't be better if the source line was
source=("http://kdl.cc.ksosoft.com/wps-community/kingsoft-office_$_pkgver.deb")
?

Adopted & updated the package. Let me know if there're any issues left :)

@brittyazel, because Kingsoft Office Linux Team bought a new global CDN to provide better download speed for international user :)

Also, I do not know why were were not downloading from the official kingsoft servers before, but the download speeds are MUCH faster as of now. I downloaded the source package at ~600kbps

I updated this package with the new .deb link and sha1 code from here:
http://wps-community.org/download.html
I do not have the time to be a permanent maintainer so I am abandoning the package until someone steps up. I hope this gets us going with alpha4 though.

Anyone who meet the problem of launching wpspdf, please install the optional dependency libtiff5

If you have the "ERROR: One or more files failed the validity check!" problem, try cleaning your AUR cache first, and try again.

[ATTENTION] The new international version (11.1.0.9080) removed zh_CN support, login, and some other functions. If you still want full functions, or you want aarch64 support, you may need the Chinese version from https://linux.wps.cn here: https://aur.archlinux.org/pkgbase/wps-office-cn

I split the
/usr/share/mime/packages/wps-office-*.xml
files to thewps-office-mime
package to avoid mime issues. If you still want the mime files provided by wps-office itself, you can install the new mime package.Universebenzene commented on 2019-07-05 17:08 (UTC)
There is no official 32-bit package for version 11.1.0.8722, so I drop the support for i686 arch. For archlinux32 users you can create another wps-office package for 32-bit system yourself.

When you shut down wps-office, the wpsoffice process may still exist. You can do
sudo chmod -x /usr/lib/office6/wpsoffice
to fix it. But this might bring you problem with signing in.oowl commented on 2017-11-29 14:16 (UTC)
