Works fine used it to bind volume and brightness keys to xbacklight and pavucontrol, just had to edit .xinitdc to automatically start xbindkey after reboot.

Thanks for the heads up! Got the mails from arcr but totally forgot that this package gz was stored there.
While I'm at it, is there anything else in the PKGBUILD that needs updated? Otherwise I'll push that tomorrow evening…

Updated, although I'm not sure whether it's a good idea to again rely on debian servers. Although… it's debian… anyhow, here's the new pkgrel, thx oliva!

Yes, the debian patch-tracker is down: https://lists.debian.org/debian-devel/2014/05/msg00888.html If anyone still has the patch I could add it to my web space, but I think I don't have it at home or so…
