Changed installation directory (thanks to bidulock)

bidulock commented on 2014-04-06 16:53 (UTC)

Package needs to be changed to install (and have the program look for) app-defaults in /usr/share/X11/app-defaults instead of /usr/lib/X11/app-defaults.

Delcaran commented on 2013-09-26 07:10 (UTC)

Removed extra "${pkgdir}" from /usr/lib/X11/app-defaults/XEphem

bidulock commented on 2013-09-25 06:42 (UTC)

Remove ${pkgdir} from the left side of the echo statement in PKGBUILD.

Delcaran commented on 2013-08-30 22:08 (UTC)

Sorry for the delay and thanks to jmf who updated the PKGBUILD in my absence. Added perl as optional dependence, solved some issues with not using standard directories. Tested with yaourt, no issues and only one warning about using $pkgdir... try it and let me know.

Using "makepkg -s" makes it works ! (I get only the warning for the font) If it is possible makes it compatible with yaourt (it is must easier to use).

XEphem try to get this data in wrong directory when I try to build it with Yaourt : /tmp/yaourt-tmp-(my username)/aur-xephem/pkg/xephem/usr/share/xephem/auxil/logo.gif: No such file or directory Warning: Cannot convert string "*-lucidatypewriter*medium*-10-*-iso8859-1" to type FontStruct /tmp/yaourt-tmp-(my username)/aur-xephem/pkg/xephem/usr/share/xephem/auxil/logo.gif: No such file or directory I will try to install in without it.

Building against openmotif solved my runtime problems caused by lesstif.
