In the mean time version 5.20.661.4684 is out. Are there any issues with just bumping the version number to switch to the newest release?

I'm not interested in maintaining this package any more. I disowned it. If you like, take the lead.

It seems there's something wrong... For the build, it fails to find the licence file (same error as in 2015). If I comment the line, that's ok, and the pkg build works. But nothing is configured, cups doesn't find the Xerox drivers. It's like something in the post-install process is missing. And there's a new version of the RPM and DEB available on Xerox web site.

When anyone else launches this do they just get the fax phonebook dialog? There isn't any way to access the actual print manager. Any help on how to get this fixed would be great.

I applied some improvements to the package and fixed a incompatibility: https://github.com/ewirch/xeroxprtdrv/commits/master Feel free to use it.

> echo "As root run the following to detect the printing subsystem:" > echo "# cd /opt/Xerox/prtsys; /opt/Xerox/prtsys/xeroxquemgr -setprtsubsys" Why don't you actually execute the command in the post install script?

The download location changed again with this new release 5.20.602.3898, it's back to what it was before the last release. *shrug*
