No worries, @baongoc124! Glad you sorted it out.

@Rhinoceros Thank you for replying. You're right. I mixed up my old config and new 80-ahm.conf. Sorry for wrong alert.

Rhinoceros commented on 2020-06-01 12:17 (UTC)

@baongoc124 I just left it as 80-* as per upstream, but I'm not really sure what the guidelines are for how high it should be. Having said that, why should it be less prioritised than another input device? They should be on a similar level, right?

Regardless, I think the problem in your case probably is that you weren't specific enough with the xorg rule. Did you fill out the MatchProduct part? (And does a Wacom tablet really satisfy MatchIsKeyboard?)

baongoc124 commented on 2020-06-01 11:17 (UTC)

80-ahm.conf is a bad choice because it overrides Wacom tablet's config (70-wacom.conf). I had to change it to a number smaller than 80 for my tablet to work again.

Sure, some programmable keyboards can have dual role keys. But NotePC's keyboards are not programmable ...

Rhinoceros commented on 2020-05-31 01:31 (UTC)

Agreed! I'd seriously think about purchasing new keyboards if ahm died.

tattsan commented on 2020-05-31 01:17 (UTC)

Thank you for the update. There is no life without ahm.

Ack! Thanks @tattsan for the very clear comment. I've updated the PKGBUILD. Sorry for the mistake, and I hope you didn't lose any data!

In PKGBUILD 2.10.6-3, it is written:

Install bundled example config to /etc/X11/xorg.conf.d, and track in backup

but my old 80-ahm.conf was overwritten with the package's 80-ahm.conf.

backup=('etc/X11/xorg.conf.d')

I replaced the above with the bellow,

backup=('etc/X11/xorg.conf.d/80-ahm.conf')

and the package file was installed as 80-ahm.conf.pacnew.

Hi, jsst. I've never tried xcape, so your comment was new to me. Thanks. But please be sure to inform the author, me, say by sending an email. I've checked AUR this time since I was about to post to the forum, but otherwise, I would never have noticed. @Rhinoceros: Thanks a lot for maintaining this AUR. I'm also glad not few people seem to like this hack.
