This is a modern remake of the classical xsnow 1.42 (2001!), which doesn't work well on recente DEs. At first I attempted to build from sources, but I cannot remember the specific reason I stopped trying and just repackaged the .deb file.

What is different between this and the xsnow aur package?
and this package just extracts the deb package, could you put up a pkgbuild that builds this from source?
