And please revoke your retaliatory and baseless (and duplicated) deletion requests ([PRQ#45407] and [PRQ#45408]) against the xdg-utils-custom-open package that I adopted recently and which I plan to make usable with different plugins.

The
'bin32-'
name prefix is intended for PKGBUILDs that build from source on a 64-bit architecture but compile and package 32-bit executable binaries.Similarly to the
'lib32-'
name prefix, for builds that create 32-bit shared libraries to be used on a 64-bit platform. Please stop the derogatory speech against me by labeling my feedback as spam out of hand.

So sad to see these comments, as you ignore my comments and still think it's a bin pkg, I won't receive any spam from this pkg anymore
MarsSeed commented on 2023-07-27 14:38 (UTC)
In that case, though, this package should be named bin32-xview, because its target architecture is x86_64.

Sorry, I see I was wrong about the package source. But it's not because I'm stupid, it was an honest mistake. Please refrain from throwing slurs at me.

@MarsSeed: This builds from source, as this uses a
src.rpm
file. A binary would be calledx86_64.rpm
.@malacology: This does not work on Arch Linux because only
x86_64
is supported, so this is not allowed in the AUR.malacology commented on 2023-07-27 13:50 (UTC)
it's stupid to give that request, you alwayas said wrong thing under my pkg comments, don't send spam!!!!
This is build from source, no official view supports 64 bit
MarsSeed commented on 2023-07-27 13:29 (UTC)
Hm, actually, this package should be named bin32-xview-bin because it is a 32-bit executable (bin32) created from a pre-compiled binary (bin) release.
MarsSeed commented on 2023-07-27 13:22 (UTC)
Please build this from source, or rename this package to xview-bin.
