this should be removed

The po4a dependency has been fixed and -werror has been removed. I am unsure if the removal of the -werror was a good idea however so please let me know if that causes issues.

yea @arllk same issue

arllk commented on 2020-02-08 20:28 (UTC) (edited on 2020-02-08 20:33 (UTC) by arllk)

in the dependencies this appears to need po4a now

debug/Makefile.am: installing 'build-aux/depcomp'
+ cd po4a
+ sh update-po
po4a/update-po: The program 'po4a' was not found.
po4a/update-po: Translated man pages were not generated.

5.2+ stable releases now support parallel compression

rumpelsepp commented on 2014-07-04 13:08 (UTC)

please rebuild with mkaurball :)

eworm commented on 2014-05-01 12:37 (UTC)

@leafonsword: xz-git is a package that builds latest code from git repository. Once xz receives a stable release with support for parallel compression this will land in xz package in [core]. xz-git ist pretty reliable for me, though. Did not have any issues in years.

leafonsword commented on 2014-05-01 12:34 (UTC)

Why official use xz since that xz version doesn't support parallel?
