titan has been renamed to ylva.

Before upgrading from titan 1.3 make sure to keep the database unencrypted as ylva uses higher key iteration and will not be able to open databases encrypted with titan 1.3.

*removed* Edit: I now understand what gibzon meant, but it's not a yaourt problem. It's a problem with the libsteel package's Makefile linking when prefix includes the pkgdir. I have managed to fix it, steel package installs as expected, will post a comment with working PKGBUILD on libsteel's page.

sorry, fixed it. libsteel.so symlink was pointing to a /tmp dir because of yaourt...

nikor, did what you say but still getting the error "/usr/bin/ld: cannot find -lsteel", also tried recompiling libsteel... [root@~]# cat /etc/ld.so.conf.d/local.conf /usr/local/lib [root@~]# ldconfig [root@~]# ldconfig -p | grep libsteel libsteel.so.1 (libc6,x86-64) => /usr/lib/libsteel.so.1

Hi, I'm the author of Steel. Yes, it's somewhat messy at the moment. Headers should be really in system wide include dirs and they will be later. However that cannot find -lsteel error is because of by default libsteel.so is installed to the /usr/local/lib and in Arch that is not searched by the linker. It would be probably better to install the library in /usr/lib... Anyway if you add /usr/local/lib to the ld search path it will work. Create a file /etc/ld.so.conf.d/local.conf and add /usr/local/lib to the file. After that run sudo ldconfig. Ld will now search /usr/local/lib too.

Hm. I got that error yesterday, too, but then I recompiled an reinstalled libsteel and it went away. The current solution is not a beautiful one, but "steel" has code that looks for libsteel headers in the current build tree rather than in system wide include directories. Seems like we are in the middle of a refactory.
