At least for this package, I've merged the boost patch since it looks like it hasn't been fixed upstream.
As for
aegisub-git
, I believe @wangqr adopted the package as part of this discussion back in 2020, but they never made this package for their fork (which existed since 2018) so it's unclear whether or not they plan to maintain the package. That led me to create this package, but I switched toaegisub-arch1t3ct-git
because of the boost issue and now that I know I can just use aegisub from [extra] again I'm a bit hesitant to continue maintaining this package (also considering I kind of forgot about it since I incorrectly assumed it'd get fixed upstream eventually). As far as the merge request is concerned, it sounds like this package should stand in place ofaegisub-git
repo-wise as the original Aegisub repository thataegisub-git
uses is effectively unmaintained?lae commented on 2023-10-26 06:20 (UTC)
It appears that upstream [extra] aegisub package switched over to @wangqr's fork late last year, so this package has effectively been superseded/adopted anyway:

Currently fails to build:
Probably an issue with current boost/boost-libs (1.81.0-2)? @wangqr (not sure if this actually notifies but let's see, lol)
