Thanks to older comments, problem with unknown pgp key is solved. Had to enter

gpg --keyserver keyserver.ubuntu.com --recv-keys 699BF3055B0A49224EFDE7C72D7479A531451088

I tried several keyservers, but keyserver.ubuntu.com was the right one.

@martin-de: Thanks

@nursoda … For building packages in a clean chroot, makechrootpkg is used; makepkg does not use clean chroot as defined in https://wiki.archlinux.org/title/DeveloperWiki:Building_in_a_clean_chroot

nursoda commented on 2025-03-09 15:33 (UTC)

@martin-de: Thanks for the hint! Yet by that time, the error also occurred using makepkg -fi in a clean chroot, or using pikaur, which also builds in chroot. Not sure what was different then. Today, yay -S builds and installs 2.2.2 just fine. I confirm that 2.3.0 also builds, installs and works fine using makepkg.

@Misery: Here's the PKGBUILD diff for https://github.com/Governikus/AusweisApp/releases/tag/2.3.0, https://www.ausweisapp.bund.de/fileadmin/user_upload/AusweisApp-2.3.0-ReleaseNotes.pdf:

@nursoda

I was able to create an installation package of the current version 2.3.0 (as well as earlier versions) without any problems.

Please build your packages in a clean chroot, as recommended by Arch, and not with unsupported tools like yay, and not in the $HOME of a productive system environment. This is the only way to get comparable and verifiable results in case of errors.

NB: the program is called AusweisApp. Unfortunately nothing is shown in

sudo pacman -F ausweisapp2

johnnybash commented on 2024-11-14 14:57 (UTC)

renaming is (kinda) possible:

https://wiki.archlinux.org/title/AUR_submission_guidelines#Merge

buzo commented on 2024-11-13 21:07 (UTC)

Upstream has renamed Ausweisapp2 to AusweisApp (finally), so the source entry in PKGBUILD could be adjusted, and this AUR package even should be renamed – although I'm not sure whether this is possible at all.

@pand0ra

Instead of changing the PKGBUILD you can also change either the global(/etc/makepkg.conf) makepkg config or create a user specific one(~/.makepkg.conf or $XDG_CONFIG_HOME/pacman/makepkg.conf where $XDG_CONFIG_HOME is most likely ~/.config) and overwrite the setting there.

This has the advantage, that it disables debug packages for all packages, not just this one.
