I have posted on Stack Overflow, which is the suggested support channel. Here you go: https://stackoverflow.com/questions/61382232/azsphere-connect-sh-cant-connect-to-device

I thought I was the only getting this. Good to know it's not something on my end. I contacted the team involved in this months ago and never heard back, guess I'll post on stack overflow.

  1. idVendor and idProduct value should be swapped. ATTRS{idVendor}=="0403", ATTRS{idProduct}=="0611"

  2. Group created didn't match between azure-sphere-sdk.sysusers and azure-sphere-sdk.udev

  3. issues after install this AUR

3.1 current user will not add in created group

3.2 Can't connect to device, the error log is below:

$sudo ./azsphere_connect.sh -v VERBOSE: Looking for attached Azure Sphere devices VERBOSE: Found attached Azure Sphere device at /dev/ttyUSB2 VERBOSE: Setting up SLIP connection ERROR: Could not establish SLIP connection.

3.2.1 try to debug but no idea of how to fix it.

$sudo ./azsphere_slattach -d /dev/ttyUSB2 -v Opening connection to /dev/ttyUSB2 Could not set the attributes of the device. Unable to configure device
