@wiill I don't think xsel is a required dependency anymore. I am able to copy without it now and the original bug issue has been closed, as a fix went in.
https://github.com/microsoft/azuredatastudio/issues/24043 https://github.com/microsoft/azuredatastudio/pull/24341
It looks like they've changed how it works so it's no longer required, but might need testing first.

@Jake thanks for that, I updated the dependencies.

Hi @wiill, version 1.45 needs xsel
as dependency, otherwise copying of results doesn't work anymore: https://github.com/microsoft/azuredatastudio/issues/24043

Really handy dandy having it on AUR as a developer who's works with SQL Server. Thanks, wiill

@wiill This happens when I install your repo without changes --> https://ibb.co/L9w46fX
This happens when I change it by -linux --> https://ibb.co/P4WSTd2 | https://ibb.co/z8zLkFc

@ijann I don't understand, what problem are you having with the -bin
. The package builds and install correctly.

Hello, please change the line in the pkgbuild, line 2
pkgname=azuredatastudio-bin
by
pkgname=azuredatastudio-linux
For a correct installation of version 1.35.1-1
1 $> git clone https://aur.archlinux.org/azuredatastudio-bin.git
2 modify pkgbuild in a text editor
3 $> makepkg -cCifs

If your system is setup to build debug packages there will be conflicts between thhis one and
visual-studio-code-bin-debug
since both of them contain a few identical binaries.The easiest way to solve this is to either simply not build the debug packages or uninstall
visual-studio-code-bin-debug
.
