@gtmanfred: I have been looking into your DLAGENTS method for downloading HIB sources and I think I have found out why this method doesn't work for me (and pablox and other people here: https://aur.archlinux.org/packages/bittripbeat/ ). The problem is this: /usr/bin/curl -sL --cookie /tmp/cjar --cookie-jar /tmp/cjar --data "username=$_humbleemail" --data "password=$_humblepassword" %u For me, this fails to log me in, but it works by using the `-F` option instead of the `--data` option: /usr/bin/curl -sL --cookie /tmp/cjar --cookie-jar /tmp/cjar -F "username=$_humbleemail" -F "password=$_humblepassword" %u I have just tried to fix the line in the PKGBUILD and it works. You might want to also update your lonesurvivor PKGBUILD with this fix. In my swordsandsoldiers PKGBUILD this works without any problems: https://aur.archlinux.org/packages/sw/swordsandsoldiers/PKGBUILD

pablox make sure you have exported _humblebundleVkey, or put the .sh file from the website in the same directory as the PKGBUILD

I'm getting the following error: ==> Retrieving Sources... -> Downloading Bastion-HIB-2012-06-20.sh... curl: no URL specified! curl: try 'curl --help' or 'curl --manual' for more information ==> ERROR: Failure while downloading Bastion-HIB-2012-06-20.sh Aborting... Any idea?

I haven't tried yet on yaourt, but as I mentioned earlier, yaourt uses makepkg, so there shouldn't be any issue. There has yet to be any issue with yaourt, since the issue before was with symbolic links and was completely unrelated to yaourt. I'll let you know if it doesn't work, but for now just assume it works exactly like makepkg.

I would be very interested to here about how the dlagents variable works for people using yaourt/packer/pacaur as well as for anyone whom it isn't working for? Thanks

as long as yaourt/packer is fine with changing dlagents they should be supported now

md5sum[0] is bad: install works with md5sums[0]="aa6ccaead3b4b8a5fbd156f4019e8c8b" instead of md5sums[0]="a6ccaead3b4b8a5fbd156f4019e8c8b" when not using the key ;)

@ejona86, cower does not autobuild cower -dd will get your tarball for the package and any other dependencies from the aur and list them for you , then you start at the bottom of the list and build up

gtmanfred commented on 2012-06-20 06:39 (UTC)

it only makes it difficult if you are using an autobuilder like yaourt... you can read the pkgbuild before running makepkg if you download it manually or use cower
