@frosthammer I'm pretty sure it needs quotes to allow spaces, like "$srcdir".

Please change >cd $srcdir< to >cd ${srcdir}<. Else directories with spaces won't work.

I'm using the exact same controller except mine is black. Weird that it doesn't work for you.

it appears that only xbox compatible controllers have been tested... pretty sure this is waht I am using, http://www.sears.com/shc/s/p_10153_12605_SPM5940767408P?sid=IDx20101019x00001a&ci_src=14110944&ci_sku=SPM5940767408 and it still doesn't seem to work, if anyone figures it out, please post

i bet they did this because they messed up the torrent files... this morning it still had the old torrent file even though the direct download was 2012-06-11, anyways will have it up in just a couple

I tried it with xpad. Plugged my wired controller in before I launched the game. Then I launched the game and went under settings and controls and then i just selected the gamepad and it switched over and I could go through the menus with controller.

@fettouhi, I tested it briefly with my brothers wired xbox360 controller and was unable to get it to work... what are you using? I tried xpad and xboxdrv (I don't know much about the controllers, it is one that has a adapter to some odd typed plug)
