I can confirm, as canuckkat pointed out, the PKGBUILD is not installing packages in the right order. It is not possible to install this using yaourt without modifying the PKGBUILD or manually installing the compiled packages.

It`s not broken,man pacman: -U, --upgrade Upgrade or add package(s) to the system and install the required dependencies from sync repos.
