I'm on Arch Linux KDE Plasma (x11), I've changed the Rendering backend to OpenGL 3.1 on compositor settings and it worked once and then the next time I tried the same error occurred. It seems to me it's KDE fault or idk...my system configuration maybe. It didn't create a .desktop file since it don't show up in the launcher. Also my graphic card is pretty old (AMD ATI Radeon - R9 270x)
@justapoint I am unable to replicate this error. Can you provide more details. @markoff I will work on adding a .desktop on the next release
justapoint, I am getting the same error as you.
There should be a .desktop somewhere. There is not, or does not seem to be on my setup. Also, I recommend changing 'cryptowatch_desktop' to 'cryptowatch' only.
I got this: [xcb] Unknown sequence number while processing queue [xcb] Most likely this is a multi-threaded client and XInitThreads has not been called [xcb] Aborting, sorry about that. cryptowatch_desktop: xcb_io.c:269: poll_for_event: Assertion `!xcb_xlib_threads_sequence_lost' failed. fish: Job 1, 'cryptowatch_desktop' terminated by signal SIGABRT (Abort)
any help?
Flagged outdated and included a patch to PKGBUILD to upgrade it to 0.4.0 in the flagging comment.

For those getting the error below, it appears that it's a bug in gtk2/mesa. The application is a binary so I cannot do anything about this atm. I will update this if I find a workaround.
