error: error: could not set install reason for package nodejs (could not find or read package).... I removed nodejs-lts-fermium from pkgbuild... Installed nodejs from arch repo... ran makepkg -sic .. works perfect !!!

Yup, that worked. Thanks.

I guess I'll have to move my AUR helper's cache somewhere else if I want to keep receiving updates... until Deezer's generated filenames get so long it starts breaking on their system too, then they might fix it, haha.

Maybe that's what's causing the full-length file paths to go beyond the filesystem limit?

Yeah absolutely. Can you test by manually building (with makepkg) in a different directory (e.g. /tmp/)?

cd /tmp/
git clone https://github.com/SibrenVasse/deezer; cd deezer
makepkg -si

I am, uname: Linux 5.10.9-arch1-1

My home directory (and by extension, my ~/.cache where the package is built) is setup with eCryptfs on top of an ext4 partition[1]. Maybe that's what's causing the full-length file paths to go beyond the filesystem limit?

GitSquared: I'm not seeing that error when building in a clean chroot. Are you building on Arch Linux? There are some (new) files in app/build/assets/cache/js/ that have some very long names.

I haven't been able to update the package to 4.32, seeing this error on build:

Error: ENAMETOOLONG: name too long, open 'app/build/assets/cache/js/vendors~fullscreen-SelectProfile~modal-OptinGdpr~modal-PlaylistAssistant~modal-Sharing~route-account~85f2287f.2b4778aea56ab67ec2b8.js.LICENSE.txt'

any idea what's going on? is this from upstream?

steadfasterX: please install electron6 from the official repos.

missing dependency: re2

after installing that package this error is gone:

electron6: error while loading shared libraries: libre2.so.9: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory

JohanLo: please just install electron6 from the official repositories.

the fault ibre2.so.7 is from the Electro6 package when it was compiled for me, what worked for me was to download it from the chaotic-aur repository, this is already compiled, it is just download and install.

el fallo ibre2.so.7 es del paquete Electro 6 a la hora decopilarlo a mi lo que me funciono fue descargarlo desde los repositorio chaotic-aur este ya esta copilado es solo descargar e instalar
