I must have missed the "window of opportunity" to install 1.0.12-1. I now get a "404 not found" when installing this version. And I see that 1.0.13-1 is the current version on Epson's support site. Thanks!

It seems there is a new version 1.0.12-1 at https://download3.ebz.epson.net/dsc/f/03/00/07/02/77/9f162f84b434e8dd8b94e7c1f1e6a5961637d860/epson-inkjet-printer-escpr2-1.0.12-1lsb3.2.src.rpm<br> I don't know if there is a reason to hold back. But if not, could someone please update this package? Many Thanks!

I think there is a new version 1.0.11-1 at https://download3.ebz.epson.net/dsc/f/03/00/06/92/76/61c3f3b4bce0dca879a8ce26c175498d1f6496ba/epson-inkjet-printer-escpr2-1.0.11-1lsb3.2.src.rpm with the sha256sum 84b81e68a36fc1ad6dab980ba3b16bc0827b98d9071ee7dc80801cbf47c1e8e2. Printing a test page seems to work. I'm sorry if this update was held back on purpose, but if not, could someone please update this package? Thank you!

Thanks @hcartiaux ! Driver works now with my ET-4750 :)

Thanks @hcartiaux, much appreciated.
For some reason the patch did not work for me, so I re-created it changing the same lines to what you suggested. Now all is good.
Unfortunately, I can't test myself either before end of next week. If anyone would want to give it a new try..

I've adapted the patch given by @stronnag for epson-inkjet-printer-escpr. It compiles but I've not tested.

Hello, I can confirm! Epson inkjet printer escpr2 with ET-4750 driver just pushes a blank page out of the printer :( I can print with the ET 4550 driver

I am using the PPD for the ET-4550 (for my ET-4750) which appears to work fine for the moment. I may try gnucli's suggestion of removing the ESCPRCompression line. Unfortunately, I do not know any C either to be able to assist with the issue :/

With every release I update the keywords (see Package Details above) containing a list of all Epson printer series supported by this driver. Additionally, SUPPORTED-PRINTERS at the GitLab repository gitlab.com/at.gentoo.repo/epson-inkjet-printer-escpr2 also contains a list of supported printers.
Most Epson Inkjet printers are covered by either this package or epson-inkjet-printer-escpr. If your printer is not supported by this package, be sure to check the other one. You may also want to consult the Wiki, specifically CUPS and CUPS/Printer-specific problems#Epson.
Note: all packages from AUR require
base-devel
, please read Arch User Repository as a user or PKGBUILD#makedepends for details on PKGBUILD.
