Hello again My System Linux compi 6.2.7-arch1-1 #1 SMP PREEMPT_DYNAMIC Sat, 18 Mar 2023 01:06:36 +0000 x86_64 GNU/Linux X11 Cinnamon and Gnome with Wayland problem is on both. switch jave 17 to 19 but the same.

I encounter the same issue, noticed today, last problem-free usage of the package was 2023-02-20. No updates from you or fakturama upstream since then. I suspected a java issue, currently on 19.0.2, tried 17.0.6.u10-2, both yield the same issue. Using EndeavourOS, X11, i3-WM. Will investigate further for updated packages with breaking changes in the meantime. Happy to provide core dump for your investigation, please advise preferred private channel for this.

Can you try a newer java-version? (Working for me: jre-openjdk (version: 19.0.2))

Can you provide further informations? Which distribution are you using? Which desktop-environment? X11 or wayland?

Can you provide a log of the system update that caused the problem?

I suggest that you post your error also over there: https://www.fakturama.info/community/fehler-verbesserungsvorschlaege/ (in case it is not a problem with the packaging of the application, but with the software itself)

I can change the (optional) dependency to libreoffice, yes.

Regarding the symlink: I aligned to the "offical" builds of Fakturama (for apt as well as for yum). There the symlink is done capitalized. I guess adding a second lowercase symlink will probably cause problems on case-insensitive filesystems?

Thanks for adding the symlink (wouldn't a lowercase beginning be easier to find? Usually, programme names are lowercase, so one could type fakt<tab> and get the result with tab completion.)

Can you change the libreoffice-fresh optional dependency to libreoffice?

Both libreoffice-fresh and libreoffice-still provide libreoffice, so they can fulfill that optional dependency.

thanks for your input. I added a binary symlink /usr/bin/Fakturama.

The application runs quite fine without libreoffice. You can even create invoices and other documents in odt format. Only rendering of pdfs will not work as expected. But you can turn that off in settings (or provide another standalone path to libreoffice)

I decided to add libreoffice-fresh as optional dependency.
