  • Please provide a fakturama executable in /usr/bin, e.g. by making a symlink /usr/share/fakturama2/Fakturama to /usr/bin/fakturama.
    I head to search the package content a lot to find an executable binary, hidden somewhere in /usr/share, outside $PATH.
  • The website states

FAKTURAMA verwendet den LibreOffice-Writer, um Dokumente zu erstellen und zu drucken.

So, I think there should be a dependency added on libreoffice then? Or does fakturama provide it's own LibreOffice, hidden in it's Java files?

The tar.gz on the fakturma site is still 2.1.2b. Waiting for 2.1.2d to be released there too.

updated to 2.1.2 (once again)

Note: had a different hash so i updated to 2.1.2-2 (before: 2.1.2-1) if someone installed it in the brief period where 2.1.2-1 was available

version 2.1.2 was published today, I upgraded the package. Later this day it was unpublished again, so I reverted the upgrade.

  • I added a cleanup script for features/ and plugins/ sub directories on upgrades
  • I fixed the ugly permissions from version 2.1.0.e-2
  • I added a second desktop shortcut for starting the application in clean-mode

I hope this solves the problems. Unfortunately I cannot reproduce the error anymore...

I get the same spinner but you can still type in that field and it works, lol.. will ask him..

Unfortunately I cant answer in the forum anymore to ask for details. I only get a spinner instead of a textfield (either in Firefox and in Chrome, with adblocker disabled).

Can you get a list of files that should be deleted upon upgrade? I can then incorporate it into the PKGBUILD in pre_upgrade to get these files delted before upgrade (and get rid of these ugly permission hacks) - so it should work then until it fixed at some point upstream...

well tbh I saw these permission changes you did but they were not set on mine after the upgrade. So I had set them manually as you did on the PKGBUILD but it had no effect so I opened the case in the forum I linked.. as you can see he reviewed my log and it was absolutely clear for him what causes the issues and as said after deleting and re-installing everything went fine.. maybe both are needed the permission changes + the cleanup of the old libs.. because now after a fresh install the permissions are set as they are defined in the PKGBUILD

Yes, that was the exact same symptoms I saw. I thought I fixed it with the permissions - at least I could (reproducibly!) fix it on my machine with it ...
