Why was the git repo archived. There are some really valuable Pull Requests open that would be nice to get fixed.

Hello @j1simon, I guess installing that stuff to docs was a bad idea in the first place (I just copied paths from pkgfile) and now it's too late to change that. Thanks for reporting the issue, will add docs option explicitly in the next pkg release. This PKGBUILD kinda needs some refactoring.

The PKGBUILD lacks this: options=(docs)
This package installs necessary files in the documentation directory (to my knowledge this should not be the case) but in the general makepkg options it may be specified to remove the documentation (as is my case).

Thank you for feedback, sowieso. If I'm not mistaken, makepkg ignores files in the root of base directory. If I'm wrong, I'll edit PKBUILD to remove them explicitly. LICENSE will be moved to its place anyway. - Okay, I'll add variant for su users on my spare time. I have an idea to unify scripts and configure them via variables (e.g. setting hook to either interactive or non-interactive mode, using sudo or su) or just by changing arguments for sourcing hook (e.g "source /usr/share/doc/ftm.zsh noprompt su"). - Yeah, that's good idea. - Okay, I'll edit it. Thank you for ideas. BTW, feel free to send pull requests to my GitHub if you are familiar with shell scripting.

Hi, the package is a bit broken. It installs .gitignore, LICENSE and README.md into the base directory. Please remove .gitignore and but LICENSE and README into the correct places (/user/share/{licenses,doc}/$pkgname). Few thoughts: ‣ I am not using sudo, maybe make it su compatible? At least add sudo as opt-dep ‣ check for root before asking sudo / su ‣ the name interactive is slightly misleading in the context of shells (maybe call it -with-prompt) Anyway, nice job!
