Please note that gestures was officially put into unmaintained status as of Jun. 6, 2023. It has multiple failing tests, and may not continue to work. The author of gestures suggests Touché as a modern alternative.

I have removed the check step from this PKGBUILD against better practice as there is no expectation that the tests will ever be fixed.

There will be no additional updates to this package. Please do not open out of date requests. Please do not use the comments thread to discuss problems with the app.

@rew1red: Technically, appstream-glib should be in checkdepends(). However, it's not required and the test is failing, anyway.

Thanks-- I don't have appstream-glib installed locally since it's not required to build this package. Because of this the failing test was skipped in my pipeline and I did not notice the failure.

As I see no upstream issue open yet for this test failure, this package will skip the test for the time being.

@rew1red: Since the Validate appstream file test fails, you can skip it for now and only do the other two:

meson test 'Validate desktop file' 'Validate schema file' -C build

WARNING:

The signature of this package changed without a new release. It does appear that the author has included a new commit in the release. It does appear that this commit seeks to fix an issue with the appstream file.
