When reporting this package as outdated make sure there is indeed a new version for Linux Desktop. You can have a look at the "Dev updates" tag in Release blog for this.

You can also run this command to obtain the version string for the latest chrome version:

$ curl -sSf https://dl.google.com/linux/chrome/deb/dists/stable/main/binary-amd64/Packages | \
     grep -A1 "Package: google-chrome-unstable" | \
     awk '/Version/{print $2}' | \
     cut -d '-' -f1

Do not report updates for ChromeOS, Android or other platforms stable versions as updates here.

Today's update fixes the pdf plugin and some other bugs. PKGBUILD doesn't check md5 sum, so you can just rebuild and get newest version.

@burgua: URL in the PKGBUILD is http://dl.google.com/linux/direct/google-chrome-${_chanswitch}_current_$ARCH.deb, so you can always get the latest version by reinstalling the package. You should also modify pkgver variable, but that's not mandatory.

Personally, I don't mind it being out-of-date (for the time being) because I consider the pdf plugin more important than the changes in the recent updates.

update please

pdf works for me. BTW, since it's a -dev version, i decided to enable new wrench menu and chrome apps, since that functions stable for me. Let me know is there any problem with that.
