this package is out of date its currently now better to build the package from github

There are also lines 75 and 80 in hyprland-git to be removed if this package is to be depended on.

It's needed for hyprsunset-git afaik, not sure about anything else. I could check ig

I guess I can try to edit hyprland-git's PKGBUILD to reflect this or smth. Maybe consider adding me as co here so I can make any changes if necessary?

I suppose this would come down to simply removing line 91 from https://aur.archlinux.org/cgit/aur.git/tree/PKGBUILD?h=hyprland-git?

As far as i know this package must be a dependency of hyprland and the git source of it must be removed from the hyprland package. As it doesn't change ever.

Call it a dependency splitting if you want.

It's also needed by another package but i forgot which.

Conflicts with hyprland-git. Not sure where the issue is. Should hyprland-git provide hyprland-protocols-git too?
