The server returns 403 Forbidden on trying to download https://downloads.insomnia.rest/linux/insomnia_4.0.9_amd64.deb. Maybe it requires User-Agent header? Anyway, I had to download it with browser and put to /tmp/yaourt-tmp-qemi/insomnia (I am using yaourt, this is just a dir where makepkg runs) and replace URL in source variable of PKGBUILD with real file name. Checksum matched.

@planton. Sorry for the delay. I have updated it with your fix. Thanks!

pltanton commented on 2016-11-21 09:39 (UTC)

Here is some error. PKGBUILD script create symbolic link `ln -s /opt/Insomnia/Insomnia ${pkgdir}/usr/bin/insomnia` but /opt/Insomnia/Insomnia does not exists, probably it should be `ln -s /opt/Insomnia/insomnia ${pkgdir}/usr/bin/insomnia` Fix https://github.com/pltanton/aur-insomnia

@ronjouch sorry about that. Should be fixed now.

@marmots 3.7.3-2 fails to install and returns: ==> ERROR: Failure while downloading https://downloads.insomnia.rest/linux/insomnia-3.7.3.deb because the download link is missing an "_amd64" after the version name: should be "https://downloads.insomnia.rest/linux/insomnia_3.7.3_amd64.deb"

@giodamelio fixed, thanks for the report.

When I install this it does not add the executable(/opt/Insomnia/Insomnia) to the path.
