Thanks you very much for reporting the issue and coming up with possible solutions. The updated package should work now even in a clean chroot.

I forgot to specify I was already building in clean chroot with devtools, this and other fails are happening because some makedepends and depends are missing, need:

  • cups and libxft as makedepnds
  • lib32-libxi as depends
NIS enabled.
CUPS auto-detection... (-I/usr/include/mysql -I/usr/include/postgresql/server -I/usr/include/tirpc -I/usr/include)
CUPS disabled.
Cups support cannot be enabled due to functionality tests!
 Turn on verbose messaging (-v) to ./configure to see the final report.

XRender enabled.
Xft auto-detection... (-I/usr/include/mysql -I/usr/include/postgresql/server -I/usr/include/tirpc -I/usr/include)
  Could not find Xft lib anywhere in   /usr/shlib /usr/lib /lib
Xft disabled.

Sorry, but I can not seem to reproduce this on my machine. Please try to recompile in a clean environment, possibly passing the CFG_CUPS=no parameter to ./configure.

No other pkgbuilds depends on this
