@hippieben Alright. Thanks for your quick feedback!

Yes. The app will not launch without it.

Thanks for packaging! A quicky question: Is nvidia-cg-toolkit really needed even if I do not have an Nvidia card? Thanks!

Great thanks for this packaging job. As part time professionnal video editor, I only yet use LW for personnal hobby and a little bit video editing teaching. I'm found of the "software-only" version of LW developped for a few years by Editshare. (Despite the fact that I do need to stay under Avid MC & Adobe PP for the moment, I'd switch under LW with no regrets, if possible in a near future, for most of my work.) I waited so long for such a powerful tool to be available under Linux for advanced video editing. LW v 11.5.1 (stable) appears fully functional under manjaro 0.8.9 - xfce. Just installed the distro for the first time about 3 hours ago. Then immediately had to get, via AUR : "mudita" (to manage an m-audio audiophile 2496 soundcard which Pulseaudio couldn't as standalone), & Lightworks. Imported XDCAM-EX rushes into LW projects. And I'm still editing within 2 hours without any problem.

beta package here: https://aur.archlinux.org/packages/lwks-beta/

Nomeji thanks for notifying me about the beta package, I'm taking care of it right now. About the issue running lightworks, it works flawless here, have you tried removing and installing again? Thanks.

Thanks. I guess you should create another package for beta releases. Something like lightworks-beta. I just have a little problem, I can't run lightworks until I use root privilege. If I run it as a normal user, I get this message: /usr/bin/lightworks: line 35: 3170 Trace/breakpoint trap (core dumped) /usr/lib/lightworks/spawn Am I the only one to get this? Is there something to do like adding the user to a group or make a chmod on a file?

Looks like there's a new beta. Will this package follow the beta releases or will we have another package for them?

I'm testing if it can be built with portaudio (que version you send the link). I will post results and maybe update the PKGBUILD today.
