Hello, Please note I do not give support for the proprietary modules like nvidia. It is not part of the linux kernel, so I don't know know what they are doing over there.

Hey, nvidia-dkms won't compile with the latest version, using the pre-compiled version from your repo, had to compile the kernel myself to get it to work. I saw a warning about a compiler mismatch in the dkms logs.

Cool. Actually I wasn't using it. I just wanted to run a benchmark myself to see if it helps with my pc's thermal limitations (I'm using the stock cooler). It was working on v5.18.10. I ran full-upgrade, then bam. I had to run a benchmark first I guess lol. I still have the previous version in cache though. I'll give it a try.

I can't get it to work either. Even when completely disabeling ACPI CPUFreq, it doesnt work, I cannot get it to activate. AMD previously stated they will revise some parts in upcoming linux release 5.19, making it easier to activate, but I cant officially confirm it right now.
In anycase, pstate isnt that much better than ACPI CPUFreq so youre not missing out on much. Infact, in some cases its worse and consumes more power idle.

Hello. It seems that I cannot load the amd_pstate module on latest version (v5.18.11). Does anyone else have the same problem?

That driver assumes that the display hardware has been initialized by the firmware or bootloader before the kernel boots.I am sorry, but I will not enforce this on all the kernel users. It looks like a really bad idea to do.

Hi @eggz, thanks for maintaining the package. I do not know if I'm misunderstanding. I was looking on https://wiki.archlinux.org/title/NVIDIA#Custom_kernel, and it says that the kernel should have
CONFIG_DRM_SIMPLEDRM=y
, looking in config seems that it is no enable. Likewise, I have nvidia-dkms, however never saw anything strange.<deleted-account> commented on 2022-06-01 08:21 (UTC)
@evorster Yeah, intel BT certainly has some problems in the latest kernel releases, This is true. I personally dont use intel BT so I have absolutely no experience with it.
A possible work around could be this:
If it doesnt make things better, you better contact some intel bluetooth kernel dev and ask them what the hell they are doing up there lately :)

Using linux-amd-znver2-5.17.v.8-1-x86_64 I see the error described in this thread:
https://bbs.archlinux.org/viewtopic.php?id=264380
When I downgrade to linux-amd-znver2-docs-5.16.v.16-1-x86_64 The problem goes away.

@eggz works beautifully, much appreciated. however btusb is not being loaded for some reason. works on other kernels. Thanks.
