in the respective config file(config.amd64 or config.i386) change CONFIG_LOGO=y to CONFIG_LOGO=n.But then checksum will fail and you'll have to change it accordingly in PKGBUILD.
Or build package with menuconfig,nconfig or xconfig enabled in PKGBUILD
and then search and disable "Boot logo".

Hi, how to prevent the bootup logo from building into the kernel ? I have add logo.nologo to the kernel command line, however it still shows a splash screen.
