Alright, thanks man :) I deleted everything and dl'ed the fresh tarball. It works now.

I updated the package to 3.11. 3.10 stuff can be found here: http://liquorix.herobo.com/linux-lqx/

I checked and all checksums check out. (Deleted configs,3.10.12-1 patch, etc and did a makepkg -S) Actually config.* files have been the same for a while. So very strange to get checksum error there. Must be something on your part. Get the tarball, extract into a new directory and try again. https://aur.archlinux.org/packages/li/linux-lqx/linux-lqx.tar.gz You can copy your linux-3.10.tar.xz to avoid downloading that again.

Hey guys, a quick question. I just pulled all the source files from here (twice, manually and through yaourt), and I'm getting this error... ==> Validating source files with sha512sums... linux-3.10.tar.xz ... Passed 3.10.12-1.patch.gz ... FAILED config.i386 ... FAILED config.amd64 ... FAILED linux-lqx.preset ... Passed ==> ERROR: One or more files did not pass the validity check! so supposedly the 3.10.12-1 patch, as well as the config.* files aren't what they're supposed to be. What gives? Am I missing something, or doing something wrong? TIA

Okay, thanks for clearing that up, and I understand your decision. Also I have a remark on the latest kernel source. It seems aufs doesn't function on my system. I saw it is included in the kernel configuration. Greetings PsychoGame

Will BFS make a comeback? Probably not. The bugs in BFS are minor but noticeable. This biggest bug that's yet to be fixed is time keeping. This was documented heavily on the liquorix forums and lead me to choosing CFS over BFS with heavy configuration modifications. To answer your last question, just choose the zen-tune custom configuration, it will set rr_interval to 3 and change a few more defaults to improve performance.

I have a small question about bfs. Will BFS make a comeback as standard scheduler in the builds in the future? Are the bugs which made the switch from BFS to CFS still existing in the latest kernel releases? Also if I want to compile the Liquorix kernel myself with BFS, what configuration do you recommend for the lowest latency? Greetings PsychoGame

linux-lqx.install gets overwritten every time you build, so not really a problem. If you build end then check linux-lqx.install you'll see that it says 3.6.10(or whatever the current version). Reuploaded anyway.

After update to 3.10.6, the linux-lqx.install file still contains the 3.10.5 version..just a FYI
