I got that and other config questions as well. We'll probably have new config files for 3.7.9. Just hit enter and the build process will continue.

I get a dialog at make prepare: Choose SLAB allocator 1. SLAB (SLAB) (NEW) > 2. SLUB (Unqueued Allocator) (SLUB) choice[1-2?]:

config files are the same as 3.7.8 config files at the time I update to 3.7.9. I'll fix those when I come back from work if damentz updates them in the meanwhile.

Det, I don't know if you're trolling or if you're really that stupid. Package maintenance is a time consuming and inconvenient task. We don't decide when upstream updates their software, but we can decide when to begin working on updating the package. The more random and frequent the updates, the more difficult the maintenance is. Remember that Shivik is updating this package out of his own good will and self interest. Are you asserting that your personal interests are more important than his?

shivik commented on 2013-02-21 17:30 (UTC)

What's that suppose to mean,Det? Sometimes you mark it as out of date. So? Which is of no use to me anyway, because I'll update regardless of the package marked as out-of-date or not. For me it is not a question of seeing if there's a new patchset, but if I can use my computer to do it. Meaning: I update whenever I can. And since when does that become a problem? Anyway,Det,if you want to become the maintainer just let me know. I'm letting go of the bone right away.

> I update whenever there's a.. You update whenever I tell you to.

I update whenever there's a new patch here: http://liquorix.net/sources/ linux-lqx follows patches released there. Keep in mind the time zone difference, meaning I may be sleeping when damentz releases a new patchset revision, so it will be a few hours sometimes. Also I go to work, you know :)

Can you update this to 3.7.8?

shivik commented on 2013-02-14 06:31 (UTC)

Why is this flagged out-of-date? I don't see 3.7.7 in http://liquorix.net/sources/

Thank you, shivik!
