Missing "linvst-stable.install" file. I downloaded it from prev commit. And it works.

thanks. I was looking in /usr/share/vst. the path wasn't in the tool (might be because I had anther version installed before)

README:
The dummy 'linvst.so' file is located at '/usr/share/linvst/'. Use the 'linvstconvert' GUI utility to convert your .dll plugins.

@capoeira the linvst.so file is located at "usr/share/linvst/". You can use the gui linvstconvert tool to convert your .dll files, it should already be in your path
