@richard_vock I brushed up the PKGBUILD from llvmlinux-toolchain-svn-git and obviously forgot to remove these dependencies/conflicts (so far I had no problem with it). I removed it from the conflicts and provides part.

Why is libc++-svn in both optdepends and conflicts? As far as I can tell libc++ is not included...

Any particular reason that shared libs are not built?

pkgver() {
svn info http://llvm.org/svn/llvm-project|egrep ^Revision|awk {'print $2'}
}
No need for manual checking the revision and updating the PKGBUILD anymore.

Okay great. If I have time before that, I will fix it but I probably won't have time before that.
I will delay uploading the new version until it's working again.
Thanks!

@Krejzi: Oops totally missed the headers files. Everything should be fine now. As for the merge of clang-svn in this PKGBUILD, I don't mind if the current maintainer is okay with that.
Let me know if you encounter any other issues.
Krejzi commented on 2013-12-10 13:54 (UTC)
Hello, would you care to merge with llvm-svn package? It would avoid duplication and some of us would need llvm-svn with clang for R600/Radeonsi OpenCL support. Thanks in advance!
Krejzi commented on 2013-12-10 13:50 (UTC)
Sorry for multiple comments, but this still misses what I asked for - two header files available in llvm in [extra] which would allow me to build and use lib32-llvm-svn package correctly.
Krejzi commented on 2013-12-10 13:43 (UTC)
Hm, now we would just need clang and compiler-rt built from the same source so we could utilize R600/Radeonsi OpenCL support in Mesa. Would you care adding clang-svn to the package if the maintainer agrees to merge clang-svn into this package?
Krejzi commented on 2013-12-10 13:41 (UTC)
why are there two options() lines?

When you have this package installed applications that are built against repo-llvm/clang WILL fail unless they are rebuild against this package.
This includes QTCreator, kdevelop , mesa, intel-compute-runtime, gnome-builder to name a few.

I've looked good at clang-trunk , llvm-svn, repo llvm/clang packages and think this package is now on route to become a worthy successor to llvm-svn .
llvm-libs-git holds the runtime libraries.
llvm-git
The Package now uses a new environment variable to make ninja behave, NINJAFLAGS. If you want to use it adjust the snippet below to your desired values and add it to makepkg.conf.
Incase you are satisfied with ninja defaults you don't need to do anything.
The check() function fails rather often, but I do suggest to build with them. If build fails due to test failure you can add --nocheck to skip the tests.
