Okay, well it successfully builds (with --disable-tests appended as well), however, installation yields this: error: failed to commit transaction (conflicting files) mingw-w64-dbus: /usr/lib/systemd/system/dbus.service exists in filesystem mingw-w64-dbus: /usr/lib/systemd/system/dbus.socket exists in filesystem mingw-w64-dbus: /usr/lib/systemd/system/dbus.target.wants/dbus.socket exists in filesystem mingw-w64-dbus: /usr/lib/systemd/system/multi-user.target.wants/dbus.service exists in filesystem mingw-w64-dbus: /usr/lib/systemd/system/sockets.target.wants/dbus.socket exists in filesystem Errors occurred, no packages were upgraded. $pkgdir/usr/lib needs to be removed

I'm baffled as to how it compiled on my old Arch system. (1.6.4-1 that is)

@Schala, try now, I added --disable-systemd and it compiles on my system.

brcha commented on 2012-09-10 10:25 (UTC)

Hm, systemd isn't compiled for Windows, it wouldn't even work there as it does require Linux kernel, not to mention it wouldn't make sense to run it on Windows. I'll check the ./configure arguments, you probably have systemd installed on your system and dbus detects it and tries to use it. My guess is that adding something like --without-systemd would help.

Okay, I recently decided to start a fresh Linux install, but when building this package, I'm getting these errors when linking dbus-daemon.exe: /usr/lib/gcc/i686-w64-mingw32/4.7.1/../../../../i686-w64-mingw32/bin/ld: cannot find -lsystemd-login /usr/lib/gcc/i686-w64-mingw32/4.7.1/../../../../i686-w64-mingw32/bin/ld: cannot find -lsystemd-daemon

Successful upgrade here. Thanks

Well, it certainly does work, so I'll update this package to dbus-1.6.4. If you experience some errors with it, please leave a comment, and I'll revert back to 1.4.16 (which is what fedora's mingw-w64 builds use at the moment).

Hi, i had to --disable-tests in configure to get it compiled on my machine, other way it fails with: In file included from /usr/include/glib-2.0/gio/gio.h:47:0, from corrupt.c:30: /usr/include/glib-2.0/gio/gcredentials.h:67:1: error: unknown type name 'uid_t' /usr/include/glib-2.0/gio/gcredentials.h:70:52: error: unknown type name 'uid_t' CC test_marshal-marshal.o make[3]: *** [test_corrupt-corrupt.o] Error 1 make[3]: *** Se espera a que terminen otras tareas.... dbus-daemon.c: In function 'teardown': dbus-daemon.c:309:3: warning: passing argument 1 of 'TerminateProcess' makes pointer from integer without a cast [enabled by default] In file included from /usr/lib/gcc/i686-w64-mingw32/4.7.1/../../../../i686-w64-mingw32/include/windows.h:60:0, from dbus-daemon.c:38: /usr/lib/gcc/i686-w64-mingw32/4.7.1/../../../../i686-w64-mingw32/include/winbase.h:1268:29: note: expected 'HANDLE' but argument is of type 'GPid' make[3]: se sale del directorio `/var/tmp/yaourt-tmp-skuda/aur-mingw-w64-dbus/src/dbus-1.4.16/test' make[2]: *** [all-recursive] Error 1 make[2]: se sale del directorio `/var/tmp/yaourt-tmp-skuda/aur-mingw-w64-dbus/src/dbus-1.4.16/test' make[1]: *** [all-recursive] Error 1 make[1]: se sale del directorio `/var/tmp/yaourt-tmp-skuda/aur-mingw-w64-dbus/src/dbus-1.4.16' make: *** [all] Error 2
